FREQUENTLY ASKED

DO I HAVE A +1?
While we'd love to invite as many people as possible, we are unfortunately limited by available space. Your invite will have "and guest" on it if you have a +1; otherwise, it's just the people whose names are listed.

CAN I CHANGE MY RSVP?
Yep! Not a problem - if you'd like to change any aspect of your RSVP, the easiest way to do this is to contact us directly and we can help you out. The only thing we ask is that all wedding breakfast meal choices are finalised by February 1st as we'll need to confirm these with the caterers, and very few changes will be able to be made after that point.

WHAT'S THE DRESS CODE?
Dress code is formal - suits, ties, and dresses. Our wedding will have a multicolour theme to it, specifically jewel tones - so we'd be delighted if you could incorporate something colourful into your outfit (though it's by no means a necessity!).

ARE OUR KIDS WELCOME?
Of course! There'll be children of various ages attending and we're looking forward to seeing them again - or in some cases, meeting them for the first time!

WHAT ARE THE ARRANGEMENTS FOR KIDS' FOOD?
We've got a kids' meal option on the menu which, as a guideline, our caterer has indicated is suitable up to about 8 years old. However, for eg. toddlers we know that flexibility is helpful - so there's a variety of options in the RSVP to allow you to choose what works best for you!

WILL THERE BE A QUIET AREA?
Although we're expecting to be able to reuse the dining area as a seating area during the evening festivities for those who want to sit and chat or play board games, unfortunately this room is adjacent to the main room where the dancing will be, so it's unlikely there'll be any completely quiet areas.

CAN I REQUEST A SONG?
Yes - as long as they're family-friendly, we actively encourage song requests! You've got two ways of requesting the songs - either include them in the RSVP form and we can add them manually, or you can follow this link to request them via our DJ's event site. We will have a very small "do not play" list, but as long as your song isn't offensive, there shouldn't be a problem!

WHAT WILL YOUR MARRIED NAMES BE?
We'll both be changing our surnames to Taylor-Ward!

CAN WE BRING OUR PET?
If you need eg. a guide dog due to a disability, please get in touch with us in advance and we'll be happy to approve/arrange it with the venue! Otherwise, while the Curds Hall Barn website does say the venue is pet-friendly, that's only as an organised part of the ceremony - so we regret there'll be no facilities or support for you to bring pets on the day.

CAN WE GIVE YOU A GIFT?
Gifts are entirely optional and please don't feel pressured into doing this - many of you will already be travelling, booking accommodation and taking a weekend (or more!) just to be here. Your presence at the wedding is gift enough! However, if you'd really like to give us something, we've put together a honeymoon fund which you can find by going to the Registry section in the header.
